Hospira Bacteriostatic Water, USP

A 30 mL multiple-dose vial of sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. The preservative is what allows a single vial to be entered more than once — it limits microbial growth in the remaining contents between withdrawals, unlike unpreserved sterile water, which is single-use only.

Handling
